More About Elements
Elements Montessori School is a hidden gem on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Elements is an authentic Montessori school educating and enriching the lives of children 2.9 to 6 year olds. Paula J. Doyle and her incredibly dedicated, caring, and talented staff have created a learning environment for our children like no other. Dedicated to the vision of a future marked by environmental stewardship and peaceful living, Elements offers children the opportunity to mature with an appreciation for social, ecological, and global interconnectedness. Elements’ curriculum recognizes that freedom of mind, body, and spirit are essential elements to the developing child’s overall health and well-being.
Elements embraces wonder, fosters growth, and nurtures peace within each child. Most importantly, the school is a warm and welcoming home away from home for our children. The curriculum is based on the teachings and philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori who believed that peacefulness in its purest form-is an innate, spiritual quality common at birth to all of humanity.
During the early months of the pandemic, Paula chose to not collect tuition from families. She understood that families were hurting financially. She went further by reimbursing families for any and all days for which the families had prepaid but the children could not attend. This single act is a testimony to her generosity and dedication to the Elements community.
Our Fundraising Goals: 2022-2023
In July 2019, Elements began the process of becoming a non-profit organization and is recognized in Massachusetts as a public charity (EIN: 84-2497041). We have recently (and finally) received our 501c3 approval from the IRS! During this transition, we are excited to launch our first fundraiser! Our immediate goals include supporting currently enrolled families and launching a scholarship program.
Currently, a Montessori education is cost prohibitive. We wish to provide scholarships to children from underserved, local communities where affordable daycare is often inadequate. We nurture peaceful and kind interactions and a lifelong love of learning. We wish to provide families from culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds the means by which to provide their children with a Montessori education in an environment in which they will not just grow, but flourish.
Please help our school raise the funds it needs to also offer financial assistance to families of the South Shore needing access to childcare and early childhood education. Our goal is to raise $150,000 over the next year, while we wait for our non-profit status approval.
